Forgot to add this to my last comment (and I have no idea how to edit comments. I have a suspicion it involves a paid account ... anyway) I'm the queen of killing ants with my fingers. I actually killed 2 today with that method, which prompted this search actually. Ideally I like having a slightly damp paper towel. Damp because the ants stick to it slightly.
