Sunset Flight
This is an overdue repost of my Merlin Holidays 2010 submission.
The original submission was a photo, this is the scan after I did some minor corrections.

Artist's Notes: It finally happened. My trope fanart has arrived. When I was reading dk323 Kinks/Tropes/Characterizations section she wrote this ... "Canon verse/AU verse (i.e. where everyone can fly...whatever comes to mind ;))" and I had my idea (she didn't include the bold/italic/underlined text, that's my enthusiasm making an appearance). I tried to portray some hurt/comfort as well but I dunno how much of that came through. In a nutshell I'm glad I painted this. Umm, I guess I'll include some fun facts ... Arthur's wing shape is based off a bald eagle and Merlin's are based off of a golden eagle.
