Coat, Model, and Bukodan

Woot!  My basic Oscar coat is almost done.  I just added the collar, which strangely enough I thought was going to be one of the hardest parts (besides the sleeves) but it came out awesome if I don't say so myself.  I used some leftover gold lame tape I made for my Kohran costume to line the outer edge.  I love being at the point in my costumeing career where I'm using leftover items from other projects.  Strangly enough, it's only been a year and one half.  Oh, how stuff piles up.

In other news ...
I'm totally ready for a 13 hour marathon of America's Next Top Model starting tomorrow at 1 pm.  I love how VH1 replays the lastest season for all of us who missed out.

I think I'm going to attempt to finish the cuffs tonight ...

I really hope they release the Budoukan performance on DVD.  Seeing all three troupes on stage is like WOAH!
Some interesting information I found out about the Budokan arena is that it was orginally built for the 1964 Olymics, specifically for the judo matches (hence it's name).  Also, the first rock group to perform there was the BEATLES in 1966!!  This will probably be the biggest venue the actors and actresses of Sakura Taisen will perform at.  I'm really excited!
