compy has seizures

My computer has some epic seizures going on.  I walked upstairs for an hour today with my browser open (I think on ff.net) and then I come downstairs to find the blue screen of death.  Force restarted the machine and still get the blue screen, and I tried it again and again with the same result.  I didn't do anything this time for it to happen, for once in my life.  Hopefully I'll be able to get on to get my data, but if it is truly dead, then it is dead and I have a backup plan to get a new cheap machine if it comes to that.  Which I hope it doesn't.  
Anyway, that means no frequent e-mails from me.  Yay!!  Now I'm even more unavailable.  No cell phone, no compy, no communication.  Whoo hoo!

I'm deathly afraid of this ever happening to me. It's why I constantly back-up my data to an external hard drive. And have a mac.

I hope your comp is fixable. :( :(

Yeah, I won't have access to my lappy until I get home from school ... which will be in about 2 weeks or so. I should be able to have my data saved. If not that's life, it would suck, but I'm hoping for the best.

It's hard since it's my only communication tool. So that has become compromised somewhat.
