einahpetsApril 12th isn't just my birthday, it's also Yuri's Night!!!
The official space holiday!!
Also it isn't just any Space Holiday-day, it's the 50th anniversary of human space flight.
So even though Yuri Gagarin was a Soviet *damn reds* lol, his flight was a huge milestone in the space race.
Which is my favorite time in history, I firmly believe that without the space race the Soviet Union and the United States would have changed the cold war into a real war.
Playing with rockets is an excellent tension releaser!
P.S. The google picture today is pretty cool :)
