You know what's terrible? I have never really sought out the sound clips until last night when I revisited a high school astronomy powerpoint on the moon and was giving a mock presentation to my sister. Somehow we got onto pulsars - which are dieing stars spinning incredibly fast and spewing out radiation. I told her the radio waves can be changed into sound (I learned that from a universe show. Apparently there are musicians who create songs from the sound. I think the genre is 'space music'?) and I pulled up one of the sound clips on youtube. Pulsars sound like the heartbeat of space. It's eerie and awesome at the same time. Of course that's when I stumbled onto the planets which are much more fun to compare with the more romantic sounds created by composers. Anyway, I'm glad you liked my nerd post!
