4 voices

This is a rather interesting video of 4 different singers singing 'Ombra Mai Fu.'
Not too fond of the countertenor ...

Inform the ignorant - which is the counter-tenor? I wanted the little boy to sing more....

No problem!
The countertenor is the second singer after the woman.
The last man to go is a self titled 'male soprano.' His vocal chords only partially matured during puberty, so he has a naturally high singing voice which is not the head voice (falsetto) that countertenors sing with.

If you like boy choirs, I highly recommend Libera. They are AMAZING.

Oohh I figured you meant that guy as he had an odd quality to his voice.

That is fascinating about the last man! Does that happen often... or a fluke to his advantage?

Libera? Okay will look them up!

Yeah, you can definitely hear it. Shame the BBC didn't get a better countertenor, because there are many who are amazing.

He's a fluke! But he's fun, and people can say he adds some 'authenticity' to works created for castrati. I like him a lot in this song http://youtu.be/oOMZ2bEKQdY
Ironically I sang the second half of this allelujah when I was in grade school in an All County choir.

Yep! Libera sings various types of genres, from hymns to new age. I'm very fond of their song called 'Libera' :)

Sorry, I just got all music nerd. I can't even say I'm a music nerd because I'm really not.
