People, I have been watching too much CATS.  Ugh, I can tell you about the variations in the song Mungojerry and Rumpleteazer between the OLC, OBC, and the film version.  Also, if anyone was not aware Andrew Lloyd Webber is extremely fickle and changes his mind all the time.

Exactly!
In "Growltiger's Last Stand" I swear I was hearing melodies later used in Phantom of the Opera. I guess it's his go to melody for sing-speech.

PS - When are you heading back up to bing?? I want to do dinner with jordan because i miss that kid desperately. of course that would entail getting in touch with him first. though facebook tells me he's with kyle today, and kyle is always attached to his phone. so there's hope
