lol

Lol, just got an e-mail about a lawsuit against ticketmaster having to due with their delivery fees.

LOL, me too! Except I got mine a couple of weeks ago. :D Good to know that it might actually be a crime to charge that much!

You know, I thought someone from GSD got an e-mail about that but I forgot exactly who. Glad you reminded me!

I'm assuming I got one so late because I brought tickets towards the end of the dates outlined. Crazy they charged to print them at home, you would think you didn't need a shipping and handling charge.

LOL, yep, that was me! :D

The "charge to print at home" thing was a pretty blatant effort to take advantage of people buying tickets in the last few days before a show. Ironically will-call is free; I wonder how many people made the connection that they DIDN'T have to pay an exorbitant fee to get the tickets. And yeah, paying them a handling charge when they never handle them is just WRONG.

I didn't even see the option for will-call when I was buying them. I would have absolutely picked that option.

y'know they may not have even had it for some events, which might be part of why they're in that lawsuit... I wouldn't put it past them to make it impossible to avoid charges. Again, I *do* call them "TicketShafter" for a reason. :D

You would think they would give that option for a B'way show? The ticket offices tend to be in the theatre. Unless of course they'd rather not pay another person to do a job.
