I'm assuming I got one so late because I brought tickets towards the end of the dates outlined. Crazy they charged to print them at home, you would think you didn't need a shipping and handling charge.
The "charge to print at home" thing was a pretty blatant effort to take advantage of people buying tickets in the last few days before a show. Ironically will-call is free; I wonder how many people made the connection that they DIDN'T have to pay an exorbitant fee to get the tickets. And yeah, paying them a handling charge when they never handle them is just WRONG.
y'know they may not have even had it for some events, which might be part of why they're in that lawsuit... I wouldn't put it past them to make it impossible to avoid charges. Again, I *do* call them "TicketShafter" for a reason. :D
You would think they would give that option for a B'way show? The ticket offices tend to be in the theatre. Unless of course they'd rather not pay another person to do a job.
