Whenever I vote I always feel like I'm taking a test I did not study enough for, and everything I pick is the wrong answer.
Don't even get me started on the bonus questions on the back.

Doesn't even help that the voting card is scantron style with fill in the bubbles. I'm shocked they let us use pens and not #2 pencils.

lmao i hadn't thought about it. my new county (i just moved) has you connect the halves of the arrow. I wonder if they get a better portion of usable ballots or worse.

Huh, that's different. I was always really bummed out I never got to use the voting booths. But I guess after the 2000 election those suckers were replaced.

yeah i have never actually 'gone to vote' in my life. it's so iconic, but mail-in has so many advantages that it's hard to muster up more than vague nostalgia. XB

Fortunately for me my voting location is 3 blocks away, so getting to vote in person is pretty easy. But filling out a paper ballot in a plastic cardboard cubicle, instead of using a voting booth, just bums me out.

Upon research, I discovered that the voting booths were a NY thing (my bad for assuming that it was national)? At least before the switch to an electronic version with the scantrons. But I managed to find a nifty video that explains how to use the old booths.

With those bad boys, I definitely wouldn't feel like I failed a test. I'd leave the polling station extremely happy I managed to cast a vote at all! Bonus points for submitting a 'write-in'! XD
