Also while I was opening the DVD Box Set, Sandra interviewed me on America. How ironic. But tonight shall be Shin Aiyueni love. woot!

To be honest when I first saw her I didn't see the glasses. I was like "OK, everone else is being someone else/wierd except Reni whose holding books ... OH! Kohran's glasses, I get it." *grins*

The picture brought me back to the Countdown show where everyone was saying who they would be if they were someone else in the Hanagumi (I believe they were trying to pass the time before midnight struck). All I could really understand/remember was Reni wanting to be Kohran and Maria wanting to be Jean Paul!

ah ha, I didn't even look properly at the picture until just now. I just assumed Reni was in her old quiet/war-machine mode, which is *still* canon in the TV/OVA/movie.

Ikura!Reni wanted to be Kohran because Kohran's the one who's always cheery and happy and can build anything. The "goku-futsu" (meaning "most ordinary") refers to the Benitokage play, when Kohran builds multiple crutches.

My first thought was all of the times in the Hanagumi camera when people start trading their costumes and spoofing said personalities. Or mainly just Tanaka Mayumi herself ^__^

Yeah, Tanaka Mayumi did have a habit of doing that ... Oh well, made for enjoyable Hanagumi Camera scenes. Speaking of their camera I loved all the moments that Ikura!Reni goofed off during the scene where they face the monsters with the umbrellas and are doing their speeches. Ha. ^_^

DHL did the same thing to me. On top of being 3 days late the box was EXTEMELY crushed. I was really, REALLY lucky the DVDs weren't destroyed. It's the magic of Sakura Taisen I tell ya.

Oh man, I always wanted to see those live show books of beauty ... one day. ^_^

Don't worry, everyone deserves to be EMO. Especially over your current situation!
